My story of recovery from anorexia
I saw that, pretty interesting! I know I've recommended this about 928347 times before, but I REALLY think you'd like the book 'The Body has a Mind of Its Own'.
It's on my reading list, I swear! Summer project: catch up on the millions of books I've been meaning to get to for the past year. And I'm glad you are an NYT junkie like me!
The article was an interesting read! Perception is so crazy, and difficult to understand neurologically. I don't think I'm alone on this one, but part of my confusion is when my perception changes rapidly throughout the course of a day (same clothes, same mirror, but "see" a different reflection). I'd be interested in understanding more about how that works too. Thanks for posting this!
So true - sometimes my body perceptions change hourly, it seems. Very strange! I think in another life I'd be a neuroscientist.
